Leaf cleanup is preferred in the offseason, cooler months, when the grass doesn’t grow as much.
Mowing grass that has grown too tall results in cutting too much length off the grass blades, which results in a brown or yellowish discoloration of the lawn.
Long grass clippings also contribute to an underlying condition called “thatch.” Thatch creates a carpet of clippings near the base of the grass. This prevents water, oxygen, and nutrients from reaching the grass roots. This condition requires more maintenance down the line.
Don’t let your lawn get out of control. Ryno Lawn Care can handle all the Lawn Mowing Services your lawn needs to stay green and lush.
